Pomfret School is a great school that challenges every student to reach their full potential through not only challenging themselves in the classroom and on the sports field (or ice/court), but also through holding every student and every member of the Pomfret school community to be the best community citizen they can be. Students that attend Pomfret will not only learn a lot in the classroom, but every student will grow as a person. I am a student at Pomfret and I love it here, I would not choose to go to any other school because all that I have learned here through the help of my teachers who give all they can to help me suceed, through my advisor who is always there for me, and through my peers. Pomfret is a great school, and an even better community

Pomfret's rigorous curriculum, dedicated professional staff, character-building athletics program and progressive thinking make each and every student a better learner, citizen and human being. It's location on the affectionately-known 'Hilltop' is a vista for wonderful fall foliage, Currier and Ives winter scenes and lush green springs. An emphasis is placed on having the student body meet frequently as a collective group in an effort to foster community on campus. Advisor/Advisee opportunities in the fall and spring bring the students closer to each other and to their faculty and allow for significant and rewarding personal growth. My daughter is the direct recipient of all that the Pomfret School had to offer her as a student, and continues to offer her as a proud alumnus. I truly believe one can make no better choice than sending one's child to bask in the nurturing warmth of Pomfret School.

My child is former student of Montessori and Public Schooling. These schools are good for some people, but my child will be better off in private school. Public School tends to focus it curriculum towards the average student. As we all know, there is no such thing. Each child deserves as much individual attention as possible. With the teacher/student ratio as low as possible (within the limits of affordability) - my child has the opportunity to get what he will need to excel. He is a bright child with a wonderful future ahead of him, and with the correct guidance - can only shine. Pomfret will help us help him be the best he can be!
