My son is in kindergarten and has a fabulous teacher who communicates with us often. He has made great progress in reading and writing. The PTO is very active and has many family activities to get the community involved.

I also have a special education student. We had an issue with the school nurse at first, but other than that, the school has been great. My child has made huge progress. The school exceeds its reputation!

I have a special education student, so I am going to comment on that. It took 2 years for the school to finally listen to me concerning my son. Then one year in special ed basically was wasted. This year, my son has improved but not to the point where he could've been, given early intervention and a better IEP. However, I have had positive experiences with my other son and his teachers. Two of the best things are the after school child care and the Family Resource Center, which provides a lot of activities for families.
