Amazing,great, caring, prepared, enthusiastic, very organized, school and teachers. My daughter learned to take responsibility for her education, and grew in her enthusiasm of learning, and confidence to do her best. No wonder this is a Blue Ribbon school. Teachers who love to teach and took personal responsibility for their students to learn. My daughter was prepared for High school and what parent wouldn't be grateful. Thank you East Ridge middle School.

ERMS is an excellent school because my son's motivation to learn has been and apply his intelligence has been greatly accelerated there. He has had some excellent teachers who clearly enjoy teaching and are excited to see kids' enthusiasm in making connections and exploring ideas. There is an atmosphere of support at ERMS which allows kids to feel that being smart is 'cool', and that goes a long way in this age group.

I go to ERMS, and although it is a wonderful bully-free environment, its teaching is inferior to my previous school, for I am getting all A's without trying. I never study, and am barely awake during school, and am quite bored. That is why I am giving it a rating of only 4 out of 5 stars.

Extended review of child's homework reveals serious inconsistantcies in teacher preparation and general quality. Ridgefield is NOT Wilton. This is basically the same middle school that can be found in many communities in many states...and a disappointment when considering the tax rates.

I was a formers ERMS student and I loved every day of my three years attending the school. I almost cried on graduation day when I realized that it was really my last day. The staff at this school is extremely kind and helpful. This is a great Middle School to attend.

This is an amazing school and I am so happy that I attended it, I went there 6-8th grade, the teachers are great, the students are responsible and the school is all around excellent
