I'm a graduate of Rockville High, and I have to say that while the facilities of the school aren't the greatest, (aside from the new auditorium, which is fantastic,) the teachers there are amazing. This school really helped me prepare for college. The AP/ECE programs are strong, challenging, and engaging. I believe that basing this school off of test scores alone is the worst way to judge quality. RHS is a great school.

Well what can I say about Rockville High. I am currently a freshman here and it isn't that organized from what I see. Like they have this new thing called 'freshman academies'' which is suppose to keep us in track but it really doesn't help that much. I guess its okay though. They just need to fix up the school a little. Actually, they are in the process of construction for the next couple years. Hopfully by the time I graduate it will look better. Other than that, its an okay school.

Rockville really isn't that bad of a school. The prinicipal's a good guy who's just trying to fix all the problems the past principals made. Plus, to the person that said that they care about the special ed. more than normal people, WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU?? That's how it should be, 'normal' people can get by in society alot easier than people who are mentally unable. Plus, the staff is pretty good here. Almost all the students here always get confused about why this school gets such a bad name. It's a good school because it's full of different cultures and economic groups. It's a very diverse school which is good.

I go to Rockville high and I think it is amazing. I get along with all my teachers and I can go to them when I need help or just someone to talk to. The classes are level appropriate and work is gone over well. Child Development is great. Not every school has it which is a plus. RHS is just a great school with amazing people.

I really don't see why so many people are so hard on Rockville High School. We have a new principal and he's doing the best he can. Its totally cleanup time for him right now. I am a junior and I'm involved with the highschool robotics team which is the only club/team in the school that has won a national/worldwide title (champions). If your actually looking towards a field in technology medical or something like that then the team might be for you. But back to the school, after the school is repaired it wouldn't be a bad place to go. I would perfer RHS then a private school because its living in the REAL world. We have 10% african american students. Thats around a normal statistic.

I'm a senior in Rockville high school. I hate this school more than anything in the world. The administration is horrible, they seem to have no idea what's going on and what they're doing. They should all find knew jobs. That school just becomes worse and worse all the time. All they care about is image, they could careless about the students. I don't have one good memory of this horrible school, going to this school has filled me with nothing but anger.

I attened rockville high school for 3 years. During that time I saw a rapid deterioration from a fine institution to a beurocratic mess. The administration is more concerned with policy than the well being of the students. I was an AP and honors student. I scored a 4 on my AP US History exam and received mostly A's and B's but between budget cuts, overcrowded classrooms, overworked teachers, and incompetant rigid administrators I had no choice but to withdraw for antoher school. I truly have nothing but terrible memories of RHS and I hope that if this influences even one person not to go there then I will have done the world a little good.

We have just moved from conneticut, and my two sons were in the high school at rockville. I was truly surprised by the administrations lack of discipline, they had said many children would openly curse and swear at the teachers and nothing would be done about it. also it seems special ed has become more of the focus in school districts than focusing on the regular children who are NOT special ed. The administration that I spoke with basically had a well, what would you like us to do about these problems, I sense a huge disconnection about the real problems that need to be addressed for this school. The only things they seem to concerned about are brownie points from the state. highly disatisfied
