For the most part, the teachers are effective. The administration leaves a lot to be desired. The principal does not communicate personally with parents when there is an issue, but has a vice principal handle situations. She is also more concerned about how much money is brought into the school via fundraisers than making sure her staff gives consistent messages to students when new programs are instituted. She wants the students to self advocate, but doesn't validate when they do. I feel that communication is the weakest point.
