An excellent school with an incredible art, music, math, and reading focus. Also the home of the incredible Advanced Learning Program that is above and beyond. Only other program in the state like it is in Greenwich.

We have had three children attend Stratford Academy since 2004 and we have always been happy with this school. There have been some changes in the leadership positions at both Honeyspot House and Johnson House over the years, but the stability and quality of teachers/staff have been solid and they are fantastic. From kindergarten to Advanced Learning Program teachers, not only are they great with the children but they encourage open and honest relationships with parents to make sure that the kids are getting the attention and care that they need and deserve. PTSA is also highly committed and great to be a part of. And what an amazing Arts and Music program they have. Top notch teachers and you should check out their annual musical program. You'd be amazed that these are elementary age kids performing!!!

I absolutely love this school. The teachers are very much involve and so are the parents. They have so many activities to choose from, a great music program and theater. My children have been getting excellent education here.

The teachers and vice principal at the Academy seem to be very caring. Being the only magnet school in the town, Academy also host the town's "Gift and Talented" program for advanced learners from 4th grade. The curriculum offered on the advanced program ALP seem to be designed to challenge the advanced students right from elementary school. In addition, the schools specialized Art and Music program seem to be well thought off. I am still getting to know more about the school and will come back to the forum to update.

I did not approve of a few of the faculty members there. The school displays a poor attitude. Unfriendly. I ended up taking my son out of that school.

I love Stratford Academy because of our wonderful Arts & Music program (and our Staff). Our children are taught the six pillars of character and I love the uniform dress code. :) It's a great school community.

The teachers are so dedicated to the students. They go above and beyond what the typical teacher in another other school does. They put in 100% daily. My children couldn't be happeir every morning going off to find out what they will learn about today. It is so nice to see.

I love Stratford Academy! I think it has great programs and wonderful teachers and staff. None of them are mean and they always try their best on new ways to learn. I love the plays and the ALPs program. That teaches me to learn with kids my own level, instead of being bored and not learning anything.

All 3 of my children went to this school. All were in the ALP program - Advanced Learning Program - and have had nothing but success!! This school along with the staff are the BEST in the country!

The caring, and kindness is the greatest. They have movie night, carnivals, pajama party, etc. couldn't have asked for a better school to send my children. I have had the best 2 school years ever. The teachers, principals, and assist. principles all listen to your concerns and try to make it better for all. The nurse well there is no higher praise that I can give but great! She is always there when needed from a band aid to a hug. The Secretary's at both schools are wonderful, always courteous, and willing to help at anytime. My experience with Stratford Academy has been a great one. I would refer these two schools to anyone, Honey Spot house, and Johnson House. PTA tries to get all involved and do a great job with functions held. I am a proud parent of 2 that go to Stratford Academy Great Schools!

Both of my children attend The Academy and my husband and I could not be happier! My children are doing so well both academically and socially and they actually enjoy going to school everyday. The teachers are the best, and the administrators are wonderful. Everyone really cares about the kids and it shows. I am thrilled that my children are fortunate enough to be able to attend such a great school. I highly recommend it to anyone thinking about sending their kids to The Academy!

This school is wonderful. My child had to change schools since her old school closed, and since my child has been attending the Academy, I hear only positive feedback each day. Not only does my child look forward to school each day, but also she wants to get involved in each and every program the school has to offer! The academic programs offered are very informative and interesting, and there seems to be 100% participation from the students who want to be involved. The Academy has a very strong PTA, and many extracurricular activities for children to grow and thrive on. My husband and I are very happy with this positive change!
