Skinner Road School

Both my daughters go to skinner road school. I love it here! The school is very into physical fitness which is always a plus. My daughter has received numerous awards for being a great student, a good leader and a great role model. I must give some of that credit to this school. They encourage these children to be their best in everything they do. I think my daughter continues to strive to do her best because it makes her feel rewarded when her teachers and principal notice the good things she does. Skinner rd encourages lots of activities that are family oriented and they are usually hosted at the school. They are always trying to get children and parents involved in before,during and after school programs and activities. Both my children have learned a great deal since they have been enrolled in Skinner Rd. I'm looking for a bigger place to live and one of the down falls of moving is so far I haven't found a place in this school district. I'm hoping to because I think this school would be great for both of my sons too. Thank you to all you dedicated teachers I hope I get to meet all of you as my children go through each grade.

I love the school's focus on student health and physical fitness. I love that the kids are not bringing in cupcakes for their birthdays any more. My kids get enough sweets! The teachers find non-food ways to celebrate the child's special day! They are great at being creative and 'working smarter not harder!'

Excellent school,can't say enough about the staff, go Mr U,[gym teacher] your the best! Mrs Hughes, Mrs Fischer,you both are angels,you will always have a special place in my heart. Thanks for putting up with my son,i know it was hard at times, keep up the hard work. Mrs Manfre, you are a saint,don't know how you do it, you are simply the best. If you are considering moving to Vernon, do not hesitate to go in this district, you will have no regrets.
