I am a previous student at the Glenholme School and remember very much from there, including some great staff, safe atmosphere and activities that are designed to assist even the most troubled child. I went from a child with many issues to a teen with less issues and now write this review as a fully functioning adult. This is, in part, due to the Glenholme School and I will be forever grateful. Thank you.
The Glenholme School saved my daughter's life! She went from a sick child on a cocktail of medications, desparing of ever being able to live comfortably in her own body, to a beautiful young woman who is no longer dependent on medication. The staff and faculty are all well trained in the therapeutic mileu used there. They know my daughter and my family and have always been available to help us.
This school has a therapuetic program but highly emphasizes curriculum. It is recommended for those individuals who are diagnosed with aspergers, pdd, bipolar and the like. It is not recommended for children with aggressive type qualities. Extra curricular activities include sports, drama, music, arts etc. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend meetings during the month as well as participate in therapy session.
