My daughter is an international student at The Gunnery. She was nicely welcome and settled down perfectly. She is going through an unforgettable experience in many ways. Academically speaking is great and they do an awesome job in sports. She would love to continue next year

The Gunnery is one of the best boarding schools in the region. It has great academics, athletics and art programs. The teachers care about your student and they do everything they can to help you succeed, accomplish your goals and eventually attend the right college for you. I am currently at The Gunnery so this is what is happening NOW. Not 5 or 10 years ago. I would highly, highly recommend this school.

I had a horrible experience at the Gunnery. Most teachers did not care about the students. Some horrible things about the school: you can't have a fridge or video game consoles or else you get school probation (which is 6 sunday detentions and 5 saturday detentions.) Dorms look nice but eventually start falling apart. Senior dorms are the best. In the middle of nowhere basically. Look up the school before you attend.

This school needs Dean of student who CARES for students. I have experienced the most unresponsive, unprofessional manner of the teachers in this school. In this school, students get less attention and care than any public school. From the conversations between my kid and other student, I could hear how many kids do NOT like the school because of the lack of resources and lazy faculty.

The faculty is very undedicated and do not care about the students. The friends you make are great, which is the only thing that keeps kids in the school. The teachers are unwilling to answer questions and do not explain things in detail. When I cam to the Gunnery I expected a very different thing that wat it is. It is very unnuturing!

A premier private school education that completely prepares your children for college. The faculty push hard and expect students being accountable for their work.
