My son attended thsi pre-k program. I didn't like it much alot of coloring and thats' it. he learned more from a prek3 program than this one. Everyday i asked what he did and he always played thats it. It's very hard to have a meeting or talk to the teacher they never have time. Too much money and very little results. Also too many kids. I felt deceived i thought the teacher would be the teacher and the aides help, but it was like three different classes in one. Also a lack of communication
My son is on 5th grade. The teacher is great!!! She is so supportive. I was surpirse since my son love the school so much. Even when the class is full, the teacher have a great classroom management. Yes, is a lot of homework, however homework is what help me to be in task, learning and practice. My only concern is that the book bags get too heavy with the books..Thanks the Principal for her support and assistance and the school staff make me feel welcome...
Excellent School, Highly Recommend. My kids love it. The teachers are wonderful as well as the principal and other staff.
School community is great but the classes in the lower grades are too big. Thirty two children in the kindergarten class this past year-way too many. Good parts of the school are that the extra curricular activities are wonderful. The families are very nice and very involved.
It's a good school, but some kids just don't seem to like the teachers and environment.
I graduated from BSS and now it is the only option for my daughter. She'll be entering her 3rd year here and I wouldn't place her anywhere else. These kids grow with eachother through 9 years of education and end up going to the same highschools. It is a realy tight bunch. Its a matter of pride at Blessed Sacrament...It always has been.
Blessed Sacrament School is a great place for students to get preped for high school. They have great teachers and it is worth every penny to send your child or children there!
