wait till you get to the high school worse than Carrigan good luck you will need it
Hi! My name is Diamond. Thanks for sending me all of my belongings especially my album. It was a pleasure.
Definately not thrilled with Carrigan. There is a bullying problem at the school as well as on the buses, but even worse, there is a horrible morale problem. The teachers are constantly screaming at the kids, and the kids have no respect as a result. The principal is aloof and absolutely will not help you or respond when you have problems. To be fair, the assistant principal is very good, and there are some great teachers (some). My kid is at the top of the class, so trust me, we are involved and paying attention, but having to send our child to Carrigan leaves us feeling pretty hopeless. In the words of our child, "Carrigan is not my school." BUT, we are very happy with our child's main teacher. We are looking for ways to protect our younger child from Carrigan, however, as are all of our friends.
I think carrigan honestly has no rating as a school . It gets most of it's bad rep from the kids who are in fact bad before they even get to carrigan , BUT there are also teachers at fault bcause they like to pick favorites and not always help and never take any students sides when they should , the teachers and addministrators here worry about the wrong things and make every little thing seem like a big deal . They are cowards bcuz they back down whenever a parent calls and yells so their child can get their way . This school is usually ok and I'd rather be here than at Bailey but there is plenty of work to be done .
A lot of people put the Carrigan reputation down because of all their negative comments. I'm in the 7th grade and i think this school is amazing. I don't really care what others say, They just want their school to have a better reputation. May V. Carrigan Middle School is the best school ever in my opinion.
My daughter attended 6-8 and got a fair education. Unfortunately, the teachers are often absent, and really don't seem to care. I don't really think my daughter was granted any kind of education. Please concider paying for your childs education, that is only way in west haven to obtain one.
This school is amazing. It keeps my child focused perfectly.
This is a great school with an excellent principle and awsome staff Mr.Taralia is the best
Carrigan, just like any school, is all about what your children put into it and get out of it.I'm here to say that it is a wonderful teaching facility staffed by the most caring and productive people that i have had the pleasure meeting, and would highly recommend this school. Remember, you the parent mold your children. If they falter, you only have yourself to blame.
