My children have attended Highcrest for the past five years. We have enjoyed every moment of this school. The teachers are excellent and it has a high percentage of parental involvement. It has the most active PTO in town and provides wonderful activities for it's students. I only wish it was more diverse. Due to school redistricting, my children will attend a different school next year. I will miss Highcrest and am sure that the redistricting will provide more diversity for the students.
Highcrest is a school in the middle of an area of town where the average income is above six digits. Although it provides 'all the extras' to keep the 'well off' families happy, it is missing the ability to control the bullying and does not balance with the students who live on the outer edges of the school area where the income level is not as high.
