while the public elementary schools in Wethersfield have aprox. 65% of students at goal on the CT mastery test, CCS students, while they cannot take the CMTs, they are scoring at 92% at goal on the Iowa tests without any sort of test prep. That alone would be enough for me to enroll my kids there. Academics are much superior than your average public school. When you add the christian values to the mix, in my opinion, it makes for the ideal school for any child!

We commute 40 minutes to and from Corpus Christi every day because this school is fantastic. A dynamic, award-winning principal, excellent teachers, and most of all, a Catholic-style Christian environment that, fosters a respect for all, values hard work and instills a sense of personal duty to help those in need. Corpus Christi is a "Catholic Magnet School" that welcomes a diverse community of families from all towns in the Hartford metro area. Corpus Christi is a Catholic school (forget the 1950's stereo-type), that offers our daughter the chance to learn with other highly-motivated students from a variety of faith, ethnic and lingual communities....more reasons we love this school. I believe families recognize Corpus Christi School is an educational treasure and they are willing to make the sacrifices necessary to send their children to this school. At our house, a Corpus Christi education is a top priority; way above a trip to Disney World, an upscale car or an oversized home in the 'burbs. Visit Corpus Christi and I believe you will agree.

I have had children in Corpus Christi School for 7 years and they have had a wonderful experience academically and socially. There is a new student advisor who addresses social issues and bullying is absolutely not tolerated. The values taught in my home are reinforced at school and I think it is worth every penny.

I am not too pleased with this school. It is lacking discipline, the rules don't apply across the board. The leadership lacks. The same kids are bullying, and they are not being disciplined. My child isn;t being bulliyed, and yes it occurs everywhere, but I am surprised how these children are not punished for their actions. Save your money, don't bother with this school.

Im not a big fan of this school. I feel that discipline is not enforced enough in the Junior High School.

Our daughter has been attending Corpus Christi School for five years now. We appreciate the school very much. While our child learns respect, humility, moral values, discipline, etc. at home, these important themes are enforced daily in school. A disciplined atmosphere assists the learning process, which is one of the main reasons for sending our daughter to CCS. The teachers are genuinely interested in and enthusiastic about teaching the children. We cannot say enough good things about CCS.

My child has attended CCS now for three years and we love the parochial edcuation that she is learning along with the dedicated teachers that provide it. While it may be the same academics as public schools, the school also has helped my child develop discipline & integrity. Those are most important to our family, after Christian values. The school is also very secure and if safety is any concern to you, they do have drills/procedures that are taught starting with the very little ones. They do not allow anyone to enter the school without permission during the school day, which makes us feel secure. We will continue to send our child to Corpus Christi, which we feel is a great school.

the school is good but if your child needs extra help in an area they do NOT provide it & you have to get outside help.

My children are thriving at Corpus Christi academically, socially and spiritually. They are developing into socially responsible young adults. The teachers nurture the students while keeping academic expectations high. There is a mutual respect between teachers, parents and students that raises the bar at Corpus Christi School. It is true that the public schools nearby offer comparable academics, but the Christian values and integrity instilled in the students here make this school exceptional.

It is a great school that all of my four children attend. It strengthens their spirituality that they are developing at church and in the home. Academically, it is one of the best schools in the area. Many of the schools students qualify to attend seminars and summer courses at Johns Hopkins University's Center for Talented Youth. Under the outstanding direction of Mrs. Brown, the school has several bands that perform exceedingly well on a statewide basis. The principal, Mrs. Eileen Sampiere, and the teachers are wonderful, caring and devouted to educating the children.
