The goal is for all students to score at or above proficient on the tests.

CAHSEE
This shows the overall percentage of grade 10 students passing each section of the California High School Exit Examination (CAHSEE) in 2011. The CAHSEE is a standards-based test that measures specific skills defined by the state. The data represents students taking the test for the first time. Students must pass all parts of the CAHSEE in order to graduate from high school. Students who do not pass one or more sections of the test have up to five opportunities to retake the sections they have not yet passed. The goal is for all students to pass both sections of the CAHSEE.
