I have had a child in Caesar Rodney schools since early elementary school, and is now in 7th grade. I would say that the teachers in these schools try hard, but everyone in this district is working for a test score.district is working for a test score. The children are not educated, and there are few in the system who will actually fight so the kids are actually taught.Unless your child is extremely outgoing and will search out the knowledge on their own, or you teach it at home, they will not be taught enough skills to function in the world today. The school will not tell you when your child is failing, it would mess up the numbers. The kids are not important here, the reputation of the administration is all that is.

I am a parent of an 8th grader all but one of my daughters teachers are very good and caring teachers. I have taught my daughter she must respect the teacher even if she does not like her personally. I know there will always be one. But 5 out of 6 really good teachers is really good

I am a student at Postlethwait, and I say that is is a really great school. The system may seem confusing, but you get used to it. The atmousphere is great better than my old school which I will not name. I have had no problems there. This is a really great school.
