Clayton Elementary is a wonderful school with an outstanding staff, principal, office staff and nurse! My two children currently attend and I'm amazed by how much they are learning and are comprehending, not just memorizing. The staff has thoughtfully planned out the common core curriculum and have made some wise decisions on how to implement. They have also been brave enough to make adjustments along the way. There is a TON of parent involvement at CES. Every concert, play, breakfast, and Veteran's Ceremony is FULL of people. If you do decide to send your child to CES, make sure you arrive early to EVERY event so that you a parking space! I have had 3 nieces and 4 nephews who have also attended there in the past; three are now excelling at the college level. I have no doubt that the foundation they received at Clayton Elementary has helped them. I highly recommend Clayton Elementary especially if you are looking for a small town school with a great education, and personal touch in every single thing that they do.
Small town school, great teachers who care and are always digging into their own pockets. They have great programs and recognize when a child is in need of more help academically or more stimulation so the don't get board!
