Central middle school is a horrible place to put a kid! The racism against caucasians is mind blowing and the whole black is better attitude is scary. It is obvious that the kids are running this school. The teachers do really try but spend most of the time trying to restore order to the classrooms. My childs grades have plummeted since going here. He is actually scared of going to school. Where is the authority in this place?

My children attended Central Middle School and had a great experience there. The teachers and administration work very hard for our children and need to be recognized for all of their hard work. More parents should spend time there to see it for themselves as to how things are run. The administration was very helpful and compassionate in dealing with any of our concerns regarding our children.

The pattern within Capital School District is to withhold information regarding procedures and processes so that the administration can slack off and play the blame game. The kids are New Orleans and the administration is FEMA. The following are a few examples; as late as the day before school started the school s business office was not taking calls. The voice mail stated that calls would be returned during regular business hours without stating what those regular business hours are. They have the ability to directly certify free meal benefits with the state and they have not been proficient in reconciling the report. All parents please check your child s records as they will place information in your child s file that absolves them from responsibility when an incident occurs where you catch them slacking. Their approach to problem solving is that they are helping you out and doing you a favor

I just left this school i am on to Dover High.. this school is the greatest, the teachers are mostly nice, yes they can be mean but they only want you to do good. they have after school classes just incase you dont really no what you are doing or you need to make-up some work.. i would say this is the best school. Yea there can be drama and fighting but thats with any school. I love this school i miss it and its only summer it hasnt even bin a month and i still miss it...

My daughter attends central and the fighting and assult rate from student to student has grown tremedously. I believe the superintendent nedds to adress the situation if anything becuase its thier job to make sure the kids in school are safe and also make sure they dont make the wrong choices and just learn.
