I have attended greenwood mennonite school since kindergarden and have been given an awesome education, I have learned many life lessons that i will be able to use forever. This school has many extra academics to offer such as, bible memorizing, chior (which is my favorite), band, home ec, auto shop, and many more. My school has been around over 80 years and has been such a great blessing to our community. The beggining of last year we had a loss in enrollment which was about 50 students and before we only had about 280. and from what i am hearing we will lose the same amount this comming year. We are praying that God would help us with our finacial needs which he has. I am now a senoir and am very excited to fianally gradute and to see what God has planned for the future of our school.

My children have attended this school since second grade. I was warned before putting my children in the school that the Mennonite children would be given preferred treatment. I have found that to be untrue. Both my children were given awards and offered special parts. I have found the academics in the elementary and middle school to be challenging and of high standards. I have been impressed and amazed by the quality of the muscial performances (band and choral). Many of the moms do not work and are involved. The children are very well behaved, polite, and kind. The only negative thing I have found with this school is the communication with some of the middle school teachers. Some will email you and have excellent communication. Others are difficult to get answers from and may need several phone calls. My children love their school.
