While I work at Wilmington Christian School now, prior to my employment, my son attended Wilmington Christian School through 12th grade. He is now enrolled in college, and doing well. WCS did a fantastic job of providing a strong foundation upon which he could build a successful college career, and more importantly, provided a seamless connection between what my husband and I were teaching him at home, and what was being reinforced by our church. Some may refer to private school tuition as a sacrifice; I prefer to think of it as an investment...the best investment that we ever made!

This is a safe place to share your honest opinions of a school, whether good or bad.
I love teaching at Wilmington Christian School. The relationships that develop between teachers and students last long after graduation. I love it when my students come back and share with me how God is at work in their lives. I am humbled to have played a small part.
In the elementary grades, these virtues are taught in class and then reinforced when problems come up. Students are encouraged with teacher supervision to practice these virtues in relationships with other classmates.
When we moved here from out of state 3 years ago, we knew that finding a good school to help our children adjust would be a top priority. WCS was the first school that we toured and we immediately felt that the Lord was present in this place. We felt welcomed by all of the faculty and staff that we met and that hasn't changed. Our children are receiving a wonderful education, have made friends with other students who have the same belief system, and have found mentors in some of the teachers who have helped them not only academically, but spiritually as well. We were recently given an opportunity to move back to our old state where all of our family still lives. When we asked our children if they would want to do that, they did not hesitate to say no. This feels like home to all of us and the school played a large role in bringing us to that point.
Wilmington Christian School is the best option for an overall education for our children. We have two children that have attended since kindergarten. Our oldest is in 10th grade this year. I am very satisfied with the way WCS integrates a Biblical worldview with a first class education. The teachers care deeply about each student and make every effort to reach each child at their level.
I am thankful for the privilege to work at Wilmington Christian School. This is my 36th year of teaching here. It is such a blessing to be a part of my Third Graders’ educational experience. I have the opportunity to help students develop a Biblical World and Life View through their subjects and interactions in the classroom. WCS has been a big part of my life through the years. It is an honor to be here!
Wilmington Christian means so many things to our family but the number one gift that we have had the pleasure of receiving is the quality of teachers. They have been such wonderful role models. Wilmington Christian School has teachers that teach biblical worldview and lead by example. They pray for and encourage the children to pray for each other. What a blessing!
I am entering my sixth year as the Food Service Director at Wilmington Christian School in Hockessin, Delaware. From the first moment that I entered their doors, I felt the sense of community, faith and support. Now I am fortunate enough to truly reap the many benefits that they offer; my granddaughter, Leah, is enrolled! I truly appreciate the education that she is receiving. Because of what I have seen over the years, I also know that she is learning respect, discipline and spiritual guidance. The Headmaster, administration, faculty, staff and aids are truly phenomenal.
I know my kids are in a place they are loved. They are challanged in their learning. The teachers are very accessible open to discussion and willing to go go the extra mile. I know I made the right choice in sending my kids to WCS.
