Glad I chose to send my children to Brick Mill Elementary. Staff is excellent, caring and really keeps the children and families engaged and involved. Thank you.

I think this school is one of the best. The teachers are very caring and take a huge interest in the children I would't send them to another school district.

I wish this school was more hands on..My childern attended the early learning center before going here and the difference was huge. Also, way too many inservice days in this school and alot of extra spending on everything such as school supplies, teacher gifts, extra snacks etc. I have 2 childern and have been keeping track of cost (which does include paying for school lunches) we spent $900 for the school year in additional monies requested from teacher for supplies and such. What are taxes for??? My childern previously attended another school district (Southern DE)and everything was covered. Feild trips, class supplies...they also were not constantly hitting you up for presents for teachers and Aids.

I think this school is very organized and always rewarding positive behavior. My child has learned responsibility of homework, and knows what is expected. I love that there is a mascot. My one complaint (it's really my daughters complaint) is that she wishes there were swings on the playground.

This is our first experience in a public school setting. I have 1st and 3rd grader and the both teachers have been great. I volunteer every two weeks and the teachers are not only open to it, but appreciate it! The principal is great. He is very approachable and makes creates a 'family' environment. Despite that fact that there are 800 or so children in the school, it is very organized and under control. My children have only good things to say!
