I am VERY happy with the staff and general appearance of the school. However, I am disappointed w/ the school boards decision about making Chinese a Special. My children have to split Computer and Library time so Chineses can be a full special. In Library they check out books and color - what happened to learning how to use a library, card catalogs and parts of a book? This is much more useful than any foriegn language! KUDOS to the staff for caring through with a smile even though the board and Dr. Kelly do not truely have the childrens best interest in mind!
Milton Elementary has proved to me as a parent that I do not need to send my child to a private school. The teachers and the principle are so involved with the children and even call the parents frequently to give updates. True parent participation also makes a for a better school. I give Milton 5 stars!
