Unfortunaly I was expecting NCCA to be better than what it is right now,my daughter just to go there before and after several years my husband & I decided to enrolled her back but the high school's teachers are a very big disappointment. The high schoolers use all kind of foul language and never follow the rules and they get away with everything.

We choose to place both our children in NCCA after the positive experience my Husband had attending the school. We are very blessed to by the loving, devoted, Christian environment they receive at NCCA. Academically the school is solid. Both of our kids learned to read at the age of 4 and have excelled above other children attending other schools. Our only disappointment would be with a portion of the Preschool program. What is missing is the art and sensory activity, which enhances a child s development and love for the world around them. That said, we have nothing but rave reviews. What better foundation to give your child than the one they learn there!

I went to NCCA for 8 years. its a good school, but compared to Red Lion ( where i attend now ) NCCA was like a public school.

This is my first year that I sent my daughter to NCCA. She is in fifth grade and her teacher is great I would not ask for any better instructor. My only problem is with the administration. It is very disorganised and it seems they do not know how to run an educational institution. I am actually having second thoughts about her spending another year there.

My daughter has been attending NCCA since K-3 and is now in 1st grade. Our family has had such a wonderful experience with the staff and administration. Our child is getting a first rate education and learning about God at the same time. Our second child will be going into K-3 at NCCA next year and as long as we live in the area we plan on both of our children graduating from New Castle. If you are looking for a Christian school, NCCA should be your first choice.

I'm not impressed with this school. They do not have adequate extra curriculars. There are not enough electives. Where is the art? They finally got a band instructor. Too few sports. I haven't seen anything good come out of this new administration. They brush problems aside. I'm thinking of pull my son out and sending him somewhere else.

2006-2007 was my daughters first year at New Castle and our first experience with private Christian education. I can only sing the praises of the faculty, staff, and administrators. They provide a caring, nurturing, and educational Christian environment that is a wonderful support system to what my husband and I are trying to accomplish in our home.

My daughter has attended NCCA since she was 3yrs old (Pre-K3), she is now in the 4th grade. I feel that this school is very good in regards to academics. The only thing I can say is that I was not to happy with the financial side of the school meaning in regards to not enough scholorship money is given as you see in other schools, and that is a reason the enrollment is down. But all in all I would recommend this school to anyone who is looking for a good Christian foundation.

My daughter and I have been at New Castle Christian Academy for two years. She has had a loving, Christian education. I also have had the priviledge of teaching at New Castle Christian Academy. The school provides an excellent curriculum, a Christian atmosphere and the teachers and administration and caring, genuine people. My daughter and I are both very happy with our school. I would recommend our school to anyone who is looking for a loving, Christian atmosphere for their children. Thank you New Castle Christian Academy.

My daughter attends NCCA and loves school. She has alreday learned how to read and she is only 4 years old!The most exciting part of her schooling is that she has loving devoted christian teachers who teach Godly principles in all areas of her academics. If you are looking for a great school where Christ is first and formostlook no farther!

My son began kindergarten this year at NCBA and found that there were no transitional problems to a new school because of the loving, God-centered teachers and environment. The ABeka curriculum provides a fun and challenging approach to learning much more than public schools have to offer. He loves going to school everyday and also can participate in extracurricular activities like Christian Karate right at the school. God has blessed our family with a school that is not only academically sound but lead by administration that is devoted to God and the success of the students.

My child is in junior high at NCBA. It is very exciting to know that my child is attending the same school that I graduated from. The school remains academically sound. The students are encouraged to work to their best potential, and the staff goes out of their way to help those that need it. NCBA is Christian in more than name. The students receive a Biblically sound perspective of the world around them. Pastor Gephart, as well as all of the staff, work hard at preparing the students for life outside the walls of NCBA. If you're looking for a great Christian school, look no farther!

My child has been at NCCA since 2004 in the Pre-K program. It has been such a great experience for our daughter and our family. The pre-k program is very structured and well run. In K-4 she is already learning to read! I am really looking forward to what lies ahead in K-5. Having been in the school halls on a daily basis I am very impressed with the care the teachers have for each and every student. Pastor G has a great heart for students becoming closer to God in their daily lives and as a parent that should be the first priority when looking at a Christian school. If you are looking for a great Christian education NCCA should be your first choice.

The leadership and faculty of New Castle Christian Academy and First Baptist Church provides the foundation for a Christian based school setting. I know my three children are receiving the education they need as well as spiritual guidance so vital in their spiritual growth. I would recommend NCCA to any parent looking for a school that will train their children well with a Biblical world view.

The preschool was lacking in the area of structured academics, however, the remainder of the lower school was academically sound. The lack of music, arts, sports, etc is unacceptable!

NCCA is an excellent Elementary School. I don't think much emphasis is given towards financial aid as other private schools. Parents are applying for assistance but the school has the last say so. Miniorities need assitance just as well as staff children. Upper grades ratio's are dropping daily and the children are going to other private schools. This school could use a renovation and stop raising the tuition till we get it together.

The lower school is excellent! Small class size and caring teachers who encourage learning and welcome parents helping. The upper school needs a lot of help. A recent administration change has resulted in some indifference toward the opinions and input of parents. Many students have left resulting in almost no varsity sports. Except for choir no music instruction is available. It is difficult to find help (even if money is offered) for a child who needs tutoring. Nurse is almost always available and very caring!

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
