I was a substitute teacher at all the Seaford Elementary Schools school , but not for very long. I wasn't fond of the behavior by most of the students in this district and the attitudes by some of the teachers. When I subbed, I dreaded this school the most. I live in the Seaford School District and after subbing here I decided to put my son in a private school when it was time for him to go off to school.

Good school all in all, but the enrichment programs could be better. The school needs ti improve its writing curriculum. My son is now in Middle School and the teacher there said he has many kids coming from FDE (and Seaford Elementary schools in general) that are failing his writing class. Other than that this school is very good, my son loved it there.

This is now a k-5 school with an outstanding staff. Nothing but pure dedication to the students of the Seaford School district

About the tests

In 2008-2009 Delaware used the Delaware Student Testing Program (DSTP) to test students in reading and math in grades 2 through 10, in writing in grades 3 through 10, and in science and social studies in grades 4, 6, 8 and 11. The scores for social studies in grades 4 and 6 are not shown on GreatSchools profiles.
