My Children attend Shortlidge and I must say that I am pleased. We have to work together as a team,,, The school, parents and children to be succesful. I am very involved and if I ever have a question or problem I can go to the right person and see results. So far no complaints from my children or I.

My daughter and I both do not like the class that she was put in. The kids have no discipline and the teacher is limited in her ability to control them. There is no question that my daughter will not be returning to this school next year.

A bit unorganized. Children learn a lot at home with large homework assignments rather than in class. Discipline issues in classroom setting makes it difficult to get through lesson.

My children went to Shortlidge Academy for an a number of years. I rate this school as a ok school. because children that need the most help are some what left behind. when there are after school event it is very unorganized. even though this year performance was good.
