Are left-handed people smarter?
Yep. According to researcher Alan Searleman, southpaws have higher IQs, solve problems better and enjoy more extensive vocabularies than righties. Lefty cases in point: Isaac Newton, Benjamin Franklin, Albert Einstein and Pablo Picasso, for starters. Not to mention every U.S. president since 1981, except for George Bush!
Take heart, righties: Searleman's study also found that lefties have worse memories than their right-handed peers. :)

My dad was a southpaw and when he went to school his hand and arm were beat with a yard stick telling him it was wrong needless to say he was very confused and had the worse handwriting. His three children are all right hands mostly but I do somethings better left handed. I am stronger in southpaw, go either way in boxing but am more of a southpaw. children throw lefty bat right
My Dad was very smart trained at FBI Hgt. in OK City, OK.
opened a communications company in SW fl with his dad. Military Academy and transferred to KS university
and walked out one semester because a teacher said his handwriting was poor and never went back. Lefties are stubborn they do not give up, make no excuse's and see things through. Whether they are smarter or not I do not know I think it is in the gene pool and that can be oh! so wrong.
I will ask this for those of at least 50 years or older are we smarter then our kids and grandkids?
Todays kids can not figure out easy math without a calculator. Can not even count back change check it out next time you go somewhere shopping.16874

In answer to your question are we smarter than our kids/grandkids. In terms of "factual knowledge" I'd say yes, but in terms of technology, etc. I don't think so. Younger kids, for the most part, don't know as much "off the top of their heads" but they know how to find it (via internet searching, calculators, etc.) if they need it.
My grandparents may have had first hand experience milking cows, and thought we were lazy to just go buy it from a store. In the end, neither one of us would go thirsty, but we each have different ways to accomplish the same task. (Just like lefties and righties, somehow getting the jobs done, even if they don't hold the pencils the same ways!)16873
