Do not go by the scores on Greatschools.org. You have to go into the school and meet the administrative staff, explore the school and find out why the scores are the way that they are. A perfect "10" online is not always a perfect 10 in person!

There are great and awful teachers in great schools and not so great schools. I think the key is a teacher, not school.

Observe the area surrounding the school during start and release of the school. Read reviews and look up the school report card to see diversity proportions and gender ratio. If you have kids attending the school talk 2 the parents and kids.
