Isle of Wight County Schools Virginia

We are moving to the Eagle Harbor area of Carrollton, VA this summer from San Diego, CA. Our 4 kids will be attending the area schools. Smithfield Middle and High, Westside Elementary, and Carrollton Elementary. Everything about the neighborhood seems great, except the proximity to these schools. We chose the area because it will be a short commute for my husband up in Newport News, but I'm starting to have second thoughts. Any insight to this area would be greatly appreciated!

Eagle Harbor is a good area of Carrollton and those public schools are great schools when you look at other schools nearby. We live in Suffolk and have looked for homes in that area and in the North Suffolk area because the schools are so much better than where we are. There are private schools close to that area also - Isle of Wight Academy and Stonebridge are two that are very popular and close.82596
