Both of my children have attended SHMS from age 1 through their VPK years. They were both comfortable at the school and were left in the hands of very caring teachers. The VPK program is stellar; my older daughter entered Kindergarten knowing more than 90% of her classmates. Security is taken seriously, as is cleanliness and orderliness of the facilities. The director is a stickler for making sure the school is always in compliance with student:teacher ratios. The only drawback I found was the "before-school" and "after-school" prorated costs; an extra fee is charged in 30-minute increments before 8:30 a.m. and after 3:00 p.m. Otherwise, I have been pleased and comfortable with the care my children have received at this school.

Great VPK program. I would not consider this school a traditional Montessori program but the children are taught with love and respect; each can grow at their own pace.

I have two children there and they have truly grown learning spanish, writing, the alphabet, good manners and so much more. This is truly a great school where children are safe and learn so many things, it is not a daycare it is the perfect school.
