I'm currently a seventh grader at this school and I'm very passionate about learning and trying my best, but this school doesn't seem to support that too much lately. Teachers lately in class aren't really teaching, but complaining about my peers not paying attention, or scolding students. The administration doesn't really do much about it, and the lunches are crazily packed. A lot goes on that the administration and teachers don't know about (fights, cigarettes, girls wearing extremely provocative clothing. pda in the hallways, etc.) I just really wish the atmosphere and attitude of my school would improve. If you have a choice to choose Teague or another school, please really look into it. Teague isn't at it's finest anymore... Agreed, very overrated.

This school is seriously over-rated. Teachers are horrible and my children learned very little attending this school. I really can not understand how it continues to be an A+ school. Most of the students that attend this school are out of district. I have personally known over 10 students who did not belond in district. Lots of behavior problems at the school. Many of the teachers need to retire. I was not pleased with the education that both my children received and this school.

I am currently an 8th grader at Teague I use to go to wekiva elementary. I was a straight A & B student. As soon as I got to Teague in 6th grade I was picked on from the start. I am Hispanic and I would be picked on for the way I dressed and how well spoken. There is a lot of bulling at Teague when you try to report it all they say is we ll get to it and never do. The teachers are not respected in the classrooms, there is a lot of teachers who don t care about their students they re only there for the paycheck. There is also so much foul language at this school. I am so happy I am leaving this school, because this school was my biggest downfall! Teague is the type of school that is brought up in rumors and drama! If you are planning on attending this school just stay strong minded and only worry about yourself. You don t need the drama. - Submitted by a student.

First the teachers treat the job as just a paycheck, and do not focus on one on one time with students that need the extra attention. Although there are those teachers who put their heart and soul into teaching, and these teachers need to be paid more for their efforts. Bus drivers need to be more attentive with the children who board the wrong buses to be with there friends. Teacher and parent communication is not good at all. The teachers are supposed to teach our children not the parents. If parents could afford to stay home and not work then we could focus more on our child's education. That is why we pay our taxes. They do not update the website enough! i think homework should be posted before it is due so parents may review the work assignments for each week, this would allow parents to be more involved.

I have noticed many bullies in this school. Teachers should moniter this school more, and parents should know how their children act in school, because, a child's attitude is a reflection of their parents', so be sure your children are being polite and not rude or they will know how rude you really are.

For the most part the staff is positive & they want the kids to learn. Slightly over crowded with 3 lunch periods!! Parent involvement is minimal; little outside sports activities b/c of money; gorgeous & well kept school. I son likes it :-)

This school has changed soo much throughout the years. One thing that has not changed is that they only focus on FCAT. If they see a child is not making the grade they just over look them. Dispite the need for that child to learn. No chld left behind. Yea right not so; but again this is not the only school that has this problem. They tend to judge students not for what they are capable of but were they come from. Not all staff is this way. Sad because if you are teaching you should never give up on the kids No Matter What. This school has grown to have a large population of diff children that come from different walks of life and some people don't like that! They are afraid or intimidated of what they don't know nor understand!

Teague Middle School could use a bit of cleaning up. The teachers are good, though. I wish the lunches weren't so packed up like they were last year.

While there are some remarkable exceptions, the teachers encountered in two years in this school generally seem afraid of the students and extremely nonsupportive. School focuses on fcat standards, but does not teach students to think critically or creatively. Definitely a factory school that accommodates the majority, but those that don't exactly fit the mold are left behind. Gifted program does not employ divergent thinking. Does not utilize student ep at all. Teachers overworked and undermotivated.
