I am the review directly below referencing the catorization of ACA as materialistic and preppy. While no school is perfect I think it is unfair to categorize or rate a school based on demographics. I also intended to give it a 5 star recomendation instead of 3 stars. God Bless

As a parent I found this school to be a very preppy school--more materialistic and style focus versus academic focused. I have seen a vast difference between this school and the school my child now attends in California. Although my child maintained a 3.8 GPA at anunciatin catholic academy, the child was behind here in California. I think behavior and drug use is a big issue at this school. I do not recommend this school....it's all talk of a great school with little show.

I just transferred my special needs child to this school and couldn't be more pleased. The teacher communication has exceeded all expectations. A call in homework hotline is updated daily and assignment and test grades are available online as well. Accommodations have been graciously accepted. The teachers are dedicated, creative, and obviously answer to a Higher Authority than our public school experience. The principal is loving and no nonsense and welcomes you like family. This school is a Godsend.

We have been part of the ACA family for over 8 years and feel it is an exceptional school in all areas. Students are encouraged to develop at their own pace with the support of teachers. Our administration is in tune with developing the whole child and is always ready to (really) listen to parents. We feel very blessed that our children attend Annunciation.

This one of the worst schools in the county. If you can avoid sending your child there it will definitely be a plus.

We are new to this school and I have never been more pleased with the decision. My daughter comes home every day excited about her day and tells me that the children are kind and that she loves her teacher. I have been impressed with the number of after school activities and the parent involvement. The principal really cares and even holds a coffee get-together each month to talk with parents about any concerns they might have. They do all of this while giving my child and excellent moral and religious education. I couldn't ask for more!

The academic excellence provided by the faculty at this school is hard to beat anywhere. My child was ahead of peers when moved to a public middle school. Unfortunately, the double standard exhibited between those that have and those that do not is overwhelmingly evident. This is not the school for your child if they have any special needs, as accommodations are not easy to arrange. Art, music and PE is available during the school day and there are adequate activities available after school.

We just transfered to the school. Acadmically it is much harder than the previous good school my son went to. Professionally, you can not find a better group of teachers and staff. They all have the best interest of the student at hand.

I research every school within 75 miles of Orlando and moved to this area so my children could attend this school. It was the best decision I ever made for my children. This school is dedicated to its strong religious foundation as well as its high academic standards. Our principal is highly involved with all our children. It is not uncommon to see her sitting in on a class or eating lunch with the children. It is a school that embraces families and makes your children feel like they with an extended family. The Principal, staff, and teachers all show a commitment and dedication to our children. I highly recommend this school.
