Center Academy has been a huge benefit for my daughter. When we came to Center Academy last year my daughter was ready to quit school. Before arriving at Center Academy if she would have to write an essay, book report or just a paragraph she would come home very angry, crying and would not be able to even put one paragraph together she hated writing! I would have to drag her through her assignments or practically write them for her. After less than one year at Center Academy with their excellent and caring teachers my daughter came to me one night with a book she had actually written! Not only that it had a title page, index page and was 6 chapters long, this brought tears to my eyes that she would use her spare time to write a book and actually say she liked writing and wanted to be an auther some day! She has come so far in less than one year at Center Academy. I am just so thankful each day seeing her actaully writing and no longer angry but a happy child at school.
The teachers and staff are wonderful working with the children, they do not offer any kind of art, music or other activities through out the year, which children need, nor do they have any type of social skills offered, was not impressed with the principal, not friendly with parents or other students when i was checking out schools in the area
center academy has helped my son in revitalizing self confidence in grade from a struggling student to achieving academic success in completion of grade 10. and wiith god's guidence and continued support from center academy he will achieve good results upon graduation.
