Altoona School

this is a great school that puts alot of effort into their kids im after reviewing the scores im very happy to be sending my daughter here i had a cousin who went here that went from f's to straight a's

I have two children so far that have gone to Altoona School. My oldest is now in 7th grade and is in all advanced classes. My second son is now finishing Altoona school in the 5th grade. Both have always been honor roll students. I am so thankful that I enrolled my children here. It is a wonderful school where everyone knows everyone. My children have enjoyed their experience at Altoona for many reasons. The close family structure that has always been given to them and the extra curricular classes that are offered are probably the two biggest pluses. 4-H has become a huge part of their lives because of Altoona School. Had it not been for the 4-H program here they probably would have never known they had a passion for it. I would recommend this school to any parent looking for an "A" rated school for the child to excel at. Thank you Altoona School for the great job you do.

I think so highly of this school that words can not discribe. given the other choices near by I would choose Altoona School in a heartbeat.

In the fast pace of standardized testing, it is with a breath of fresh air that there is still the one room school house available for today's child. In fact, this small charter school is standing as a witness that increased scores can be achieved through small group learning....This school started in the 1800's and today young children are still striving and meeting academics on the same school grounds of yester year. Way to go Altoona School!!! The vision is becoming a reality... I am a former student of this school and now have the opportunity to see the next generation grow.

i have been going to Altoona School for 4 years now and i like the way the school is run. we have pe, music and we get to put on programs, we have art and daily recess. our teachers are tough but we love them(mostly). we work hard and get to play hard. we have a very active 4H program also.
