Poor leadership at Clay Springs. School is lead by a principal that is not "parent" friendly. Negative atmosphere throughout the school

I think Clay Springs is a great school. The teachers really support reading, and seem to truly care about their students. I give this school an A rating in my book!

I think Clay Springs is a great school. They never should have layied off Mrs. Owings. She was a great teacher to my child. she was always nice and funny to all her students!

My child has been in this school for 2 years and I feel the teachers don't take the time with the children as needed and I feel that as long as it is an 'A' school they won't because that's what they are really concerned about.

My son had a wonderful experience in his six years at Clay Springs Elementary. From Ms. Brown in Pre-K through fifth grade, the school has terrific teachers who truly care about the students. I just love the addition of the Science Lab and Mrs. Eages, the science teacher.

Terrible teaching skills- so far behind, my child wasn't being taught half the stuff my friends kids were at other elementary schools- had to pull her out and move to a new school and get a tutor to play catch up.

Clay Springs is an excellent school with outstanding administrative and teacher support. The community strongly supports the new bilingual program and the school earned another grade of 'A' even with the non-English speakers. I would not want my kids to be anywhere else!

My daughter went here in kindergarten and 1st grade. She passed 1st grade with the 'improvement plan'. The next year we moved to a different school and she has been honor roll ever since. I don't believe the teachers take the time they should with these children

I feel that Clay Springs would be a great school if the principal would let the parents have more involvement at this school. It is a good school but there is too much teacher turnover which I think is due to the lack of management skills of the principal. The teachers are wonderful. Many great ideas that would enrich our students does not get done because the principal does not support these ideas.
