Berkley Elementary School

My son started Berkley in the Pre-K3 program. He is now doing VERY well in the kindergarten program. He is reading and doing math problems. As with any school, there are a couple of things I don't necessarily like. The school does a LOT of fundraisers, which is awesome, but some of them are poorly managed. I'm also not thrilled with the fact that when reading the reviews on here, I'm seeing teachers ending sentences in prepositional phrases... eeek! Other than that, I love the school and so does my son. His sister starts Pre-K3 there in August!

Both of my children attend Berkley and all I can say is FANTASTIC!! The school is really involved in the children and all of the teachers are loving and caring. They push extra hard for the students to achieve and they take extra time with your child if they need help. Awesome school and I would recommend to anyone who wants their child to be successfull.

The school website has been down for a couple of weeks. The school should have done something by now. All the other schools have their website up and running before the beginning of the school year.

Two of my children attend Berkley and we have a great experiences with the school. Any problems that we ever have are treated with concern and a great deal of effort to be is put in by staff to correct problems. The academic challenges available to the students are a plus in my book. My children have always been pushed to achieve their highest potential and I thank the staff members that make a great education for my kids possible. Keep up the good work Berkley Charter!!!

My son was in Kindergarten this year. He WAS challenged in Mrs. Stover's class. He can read fluently and knows multiplication facts. Berkley is the best school in Polk County and the teachers are terrific.

This school is wonderful for every student, and a place to aspire to work at. It has a very warm and embracing enviroment that ultimatly creates a place students love to learn at.

Very good School, good principal, good teacher and staff. Everybody very polite and they give good education to the kids. I'm very proud to have my three kids in the best school.

We love this school! My son is in kindergarden there and he is doing great. I am so impressed by how much they are learning in kindergarden. We feel lucky that our kids will be going there.

I don't feel that my child is being challenged enough in the Kindergarten program. Routine is very important to me and one that is 'too easy' is detrimental to my son's education.
