My daughter loves this school. She is in kindergarten so it is her first year, but it is a good start.

Is only one teacher in this school that I think or a lot of parent think that shoulod be TEACHING in any school, she is in first grade, she is mean treat kid bad and is not a good example for them. I hope this message is good for more than one person out there. So far the others teacher that the school has, are very good, exelent ways to teach and good control of them selfs. Also the staff at the office, very rude and not helpfull at all.

We are the grandparents of a first grader at JCM .We have been privileged to partake in 2 concerts (Mr. Ken) Super!, award classes,aftercare pickups. We have met the teachers ,Principal and MS. Marie, and Ms Lisa. Everyone is top notch. We live out of state and look forward always to greet everyone. All students are treated with such respect. Parents could never expect to have better role models for their beloved children.

I have 2 children at JCM. We love this school. The faculty is supportive and sensitive to needs of all the children. There is a real sense of family within the school. The technology available in the classrooms is breathtaking.

I have two children that go to JC Mitchell. Over the past 5 years of being involved with the school, I have the upmost respect for the staff and the teachers at JC Mitchell and could not be happier with the quality of the education that my children are receiving. Also, the clubs that JC Mitchell offers the students are great and several to choose from.The music club puts on two school performances each year that are wonderful. JC Mitchell keep up the good work!

My daughter, Valen, is in the ESE program and Ms. Fusari is her teacher. Last year she began school there Oct. 30. Since Valen has been at JC Mitchell, she has come out of her shell. I am so thankful to the teachers and staff for taking such a great intrest in really teaching and not babysitting my 'special' girl. I would tell everyone who has a special needs child to enroll at JC Mitchell. Your school and teachers make the biggest difference in my childs life.

J C Mitchell is a great school! The teachers care and provide an excellent academic program. The school has many special education students who are completely integrated in the school culture. This enriches everyone's life at our school. Music, Art, and PE are very important at our school and the teachers in these areas make their subjects interesting! J C Mitchell teachers have been at the school for many years, which is a testament to the committment of the teachers and the administration.

Great school! My child attended the preschool program for 2 years, kindergarten and now 1st grade. He is also in the speech program. The teachers offer encouragement and build self-confidence while challenging their students to higher levels of thinking. They have high expectations for all students. The school offers a variety of clubs during and after school that attract many students. The teachers, Adminisration, and the highly active PTA offer many opportunities for parental involvement. It would be helpful if more parents got involved and volunteered. My child loves going to school; he even wants to go when he is sick! Thank you to everyone at JC Mitchell for all you do to put children first!

As one of the few parents involved at JCM, I am very pleased w/ my experience. I am not only an alumni of the school but have had 2 children complete their education w/ 1 more to go. I am very happy w/ my time spent as well my children's education. I will say, that whether it be JCM or any other school: You get out what you put in! Get involved, it will make a world of difference to not only the administration and staff but most importantly your children. JCM makes you feel like family!

Too many 'uninformed' parents rely only on test scores to decide if a school is 'good'. A school is only a part of one's education. Much of an education takes place outside the classroom---aka---home. The teachers at JCM are awesome, the curriculum is appropriate and the teachers do the best they can to challenge the individual child, providing enrichment when appropriate. This school provides an excellent 'homey' atmosphere with a very diverse population, both in needs, race and socioeconomics. I feel my children are getting a great well rounded education. They are also being allowed to 'be kids' and not encouraged to become 'super robots'. Creativity and individuality are encouraged here.
