My daughter is in first grade and loves it. I have met her teachers, pta and the principal, who comes out in the morning to greet the parents. I have no complaints with the education she is receiving.Highly recommend.

From all my heart the Sandpiper Shores Elementary School perhaps one of the best schools! Its an answer from God for our request to find a very good school for our Daughter! Its a gift from God we found this school and for 3 years are so happy! For our Daughter 7 hours away from home every day, this is the best place we can trust in so many ways:kindness, safety, education, fun and healthy environment! Thank you for most wonderful Teachers : Miss Tessler, Amanda Stromberg, Murray for warm heart and love to our Children! We love you for this! God bless this school!

We moved to West Boca so we could have a great school experience for our child. I really like the high level of parent involvement, but I did not like receiving any kind of "welcome' to the school to clue us in on how things work, what "STARS" means, etc... I also have had a lot of attitude from some of the staff at the school. I can't figure if it's the NY culture that "invades" this area, or...? Regardless, the front office "greeter"/receptionist is miserable. And I didn't just catch her on a bad day - she's like that all the time and to my husband and in-laws that have been there also. She has not a "hello", a smile, a "how can I help you?", or otherwise decent way to interact with other human beings. She acts troubled by having to do anything for you. How she ended up as the front office person is a mystery to me. I don't believe that's a great way to represent a school and first impressions.

Sandpiper Shores has been a fantastic place for my children to grow and learn. The PTA and families that we have met in the last few years have been kind and caring. The benefit of Sandpiper Shore is that our children are empowered by each other and strive for excellence without the pressure to maintain a title. Academically, I have witness many bright, talented children. My child's growth and love for learning while achieving amazing goals at Sandpiper Shores has been a pleasure for me to witness. There is no doubt that with continued parental support and a loving community school that these children will continue to make great strides for years to come.

I am a former student and from my experience, this was a great school. The principal is awesome and the teachers and really cool. It's really no wonder why this is an A rated school
As an educator (teacher and administrator) for over 30 years I can say this is the most poorly run school I have ever encountered.
I have been a parent in Sanpiper Shores for many years and my children have had great experiences and caring treatment always. Great school!

This school has provided an excellent academic environment for my three children. My children have grown immensely here both socially and academically. The teachers are warm, caring and make learning interesting. The principal provides great leadership to the whole school community. Awesome, involved PTA . Parents who truly dedicate endless hours to making the school an even better place. Sandpiper is the best kept secret in Boca.....

No school is perfect...however, Sandpiper Shores comes mighty close. My son has grown so much in his 3 years here. Academically he is in the top of his class, and I give kudos to the teachers for this. We have had nothing but positive experiences thus far, and look forward to many more with his two brothers following in his foot steps in the next few years! I wouldn't want my kids to attend any other school.

As was stated by another reviewer this school is poorly run and has allowed the children to suffer as a consequence of an ineffective administration. Unfortunately as of today an email was sent to parents of the school asking from an adminstrator of the school to post on this site because they did not like a comment they saw on the site. So you have people posting not because they feel so strongly that their school is effective or should be glorified. Instead it is because they were told they should. The statements made on the school being poorly run are direct and spot on .

The teacher is at list one to two days a week absent. She never answers voice mail or e-mail from me she acts like she is doing me a favor teaching my kid.Teachers(most)just care about going home.

My daughter completed an advanced class in the 3rd grade here and has grown tremendously this year. Mr. Scott has pushed his students to get the most out of them and I applaud him. I have had children in the gifted program at Del Prado but feel my youngest is getting more out of enriched programming here than the others got through gifted coursework. The PTA is a powerhouse and help the teachers tremendously. The principal does take the time to get to know all of the kids by name which makes them feel very special. Great school.

Wonderful school. My daughter has just started 3rd grade in an advanced class. The teacher involvement and concern is in par with a private school. Science and math programs are great. Pricipal is a great leader and runs that school like a top. Happy students, happy staff, great school

Great school! specially the science program, the children are always challenged and feel very happy there. The principal is a great person always supportive and knows every student by name. The art program is not the best but not bad either. Miss Finger the best ESOL teacher ever. Very proud about about our FCAT scores. Way to go Sandpiper!
