manatee elem is a wonderful school. the principal and the teachers are wonderful. I think they really try their best to make a it a great school. I have three children that attend manatee elem they are happy their. as far as activities I think they have plenty of activities in the school, but however I think they should have more educational field trips. as far as academic progam I have no complaints my children are learning. and for parent involvement I wish there was a lot more of that, but it is hard because 90% of us parents have to work.
This is an advanced technology magnet that I choiced my kids to. We left what was considered one of the 'best' schools to attend Manatee Elementary & have never regretted our choice. It's like a private school without the tuition. Very few parents who have toured the school have not choiced their children there. This includes Tara, McNeal, Freedom & Bashaw Elementary Schools.
