This was the 1st year that my girls attended Moody Elementary school and it is a great school. I liked both of their teachers. They really care about their students. The new principal Mr. RIchardson is great! He does special programs and assemblies to show appreciation to the kids who try their hardest to do the best they can in school.
My son has been attending Moody Elementary since August of 2007. This school is absolutely wonderful. Mr. Wailand is an excellent principal. My son is in Mrs. Clarke's 1st grade class. She is the best teacher and she always goes the extra mile with her students. I am so proud to have my son attend H.S. Moody Elementary and I would highly recommend this school to anyone. - Kalli Kisellus
This is such a wonderful school! The teachers are so caring. And have decreased class sizes dramatically!
Both my sons have been going to Moody since kindergarten 2003. The teachers are wonderful and caring! Even the school's Principal and Vice Principal are wonderful and caring also! Over all Moody is great! - Judi Coats
My child is in Mrs. Oler's 5th grade classroom. She is very attentive and concerned with my child's well being. Her reading program is awesome...she definatley is an asset to Moody. Elem. - Mrs. Gonzalez
Both of my children attend moody. I have one in first grade and one in third grade. I have to say that mrs. Sarchet and mrs. Parker are the best teachers in the world! Moody is full of awesome teachers!
Overall I am disappointed in Fl Schools. I do not agree with the student per teacher ratio. There are 30 Students in my childs 1st grade class with no teacher assistant. The school seems to only be interested in teaching the child how to pass a test, instead of teaching the fundamentals that will allow good testing abilities. If the Schools would focus on academics, instead of celebrations, parties and birthdays maybe there scores would be higher. Parents can balance fun and learning at home. Why are teachers so concerned with having 'fun time' at school?
My children have both attended H.S. Moody Elem. My experience has been a positive one. The teachers are all very friendly and the children come first at this school. Rachel is learning alot in Kindergarden and her teacher Mrs. Creasy is a dedicated teacher. I am happy that she is learning alot of new sight words! The Principle is very friendly and a good communicator. He called me right back when I left a messeage on his machine. I find that to speak alot for good charachter. Learning seems to be a great priority at this school. I give it an A.
I wanted to say how wonderful the teachers at Moody are. We were there for 2 years and had the best , most caring teachers we have ever seen. Mrs Meinhardt and Ms Flis will always be our favorite! They were very helpful especially with my child that has ADHD and he still talks about both of them. We wish we could have brought them with us to our new school!
I have two children, one who just entered k and has a fabulous kindergarden teacher named Ms. Walker. You couldn't ask for a more caring, devoted teacher. Great school, great personal.
