Overall, this is a great school. I had many wonderful experiences here; however it became apparent during my senior year (in '03) just how money oriented this establishment is. At the time, the new Upper School was finishing construction and it seemed as if the success and overall reputation of the school seemed to take precedence over the students' overall well being. What a disappointment! I was also severely disappointed with the school counseling system (and overall student support system.) Hopefully, this has changed, as I would never want another student to experience the lack of support I did. My family contributed so much to this school, and I contributed as well with my volunteering and involvement. Overall, I enjoyed my time here and the teachers I worked with. I would recommend this school to anyone. It definitely is a great academic atmosphere, and I am hoping they have developed more of a solid school counseling program for students who struggle or need additional assistance. Despite my semi-negative experiences here, it has pushed me into my current career field. I am now finishing up my Master's of Science in School Counseling, and I couldn't be more happy.

Our family has been at Saint Stephen's for 12 years and I can honestly say that it truly is a World-class Education! All 4 of my children are excelling in the many opportunities provided to them; academics, athletics, the arts, and volunteerism. The falculty and staff are extremely caring, nuturing and approachable. Our children are taught that making mistakes is part of the learning process and are encouraged to actively participate in class. Saint Stephen's encourages our children to be active learners, confident, self sufficient individuals, and to always strive to be the best that they can be.

As a proud mother of three happy students, I could not be more pleased with Saint Stephen's! The curriculumn challenges the students in a nurturing, safe environment. Not only do our children love the school, but I do too. The school offers numerous parent volunteer opportunities, making our transition to a new school a true family experience. The kids and I have made lasting friendships. Thank you SSES!

Nurturing and challenging all in one. This school provides your child with every opportunity that all children deserve. From Mandarin to Marine Science, there is not an acadmic arena untouched. The teachers guide your child to the next level of higher thinking while making the learning process fun for all.. If you have the opportunity to visit the school for a tour...do so...you will not be disappointed!

Academic rigor, excellent sports, fine and performing arts all within a culture that values family involvement. This will be the best investment you can give your child as 100% of its graduates go to great colleges! We have been so pleased having all three of our children attend Saint Stephen's. They have made friends for life while developing a love for learning that will be within them for life. You will not find a more caring faculty to help guide your child to fulfill his/her potential. On a scale of 1 to 10, this is definitely a 10!

As a parent of two graduates, I can't say enough good things about Saint Stephen's. My daughters were not only well prepared for college academically, but emotionally and socially as well. The small class sizes, the dedicated faculty, and the strong focus on character education at Saint Stephen's helped them to become the students and young adults they are today. Thank you Saint Stephen's!

The school has a community spirit to it. Small enough that your child has a name and is not a number, but large enough to have great diversity. The academic program is outstanding and a wide range of athletic programs to choose from. Parents with graduates tell me their child was well prepared for college when they left Saint Stephens.

The parent involvement is tremendous. We have 3 kids at St Stephen's and they all love it and fit right in. They are definitely being challenged, but the teachers are always open to help. Our 10th Grader chose it over Manatee high, despite the lack of a drum line, and he hasn't regretted it.

If your child is a bright, traditional learner, St. Stephen's is the best school in town. No other will expect your child to excel as this school will. However, if your child is 'outside the box,' the pressure and pace can be overwhelming.
