Excellent school. Flexible scheduling to work with the athlete around the sports. Academics are comparable to other private schools. Kids graduate and attend top schools in the nation- Ivy's, first tier and highly competitive schools. Mandatory study halls are incorporated into school day and optional teacher directed study halls are available every evening.

I am a parent of an athlete who attended the Pendleton School for his junior and senior year. I have a serious warning for prospective parents related to the values the school imparts and lack of accountability or consequences for poor academic effort. Basically, don't believe any of the School's rhetoric about how it holds students to high academic standards, stresses academic performance, and will pull students from the athletic field if they have any academic issues. I can attest to the fact that the only value the School enforces is that, if an athlete is performing well on the field, the academic rules and consequences don't apply. My son had issues as a junior with attendance, timely completion of work, and poor effort. As a senior, he was permitted to drop numerous AP classes without consequence after he showed poor performance, he was caught cheating, was guilty of plagiarism, and failed a course third quarter. Not once was he disciplined, nor was he pulled from the athletic field for a single practice or game. My inquiries were met with platitudes, but no consequences. I fear my son has learned dangerously wrong life lessons at Pendleton.

The devotion of the teachers at The Penedleton School is absolutely outstanding. This kind of care, combined with small classes, make Pendleton one of the best private high schools in the southeast. The students' SAT and ACT scores are among the highest in Florida.

My son is a Sophomore at Pendleton. He has blossomed as a student athlete in a small teaching/learning environment focussed on individual growth.

This school has a very flexibile schedule, it is made for athletes who put sport above all, its a small school so everyone knows eachother which is a good environment, the academics are ok, they may seem hard to students though if they attend IMG academies because we are always busy. Good school if youre planning ongoing to IMG academies, its also on campus which is a short walk from the dorms.
