This is our first time at a school where the staff truly understands and wants to help my son. He finally feels as if he is part of a group and has friends! I am so glad we chose Pinnacle to continue his high school education, the teachers are amazing and go above and beyond to help him succeed both academically and socially!

Pinnacle Academy has been a God send to our son and family. Our son learns in a social skills and academically enriched environment. The teachers are specialists in their field. School staff is always willing to answer any question. Principal Dr. Ordex always puts the needs of the students first.

This school has been great for my child. He attends the sumit program for ADD, processing delays. He has his confidence back and truly enjoys going to school. Classes sizes are small allowing the teachers to truly work with the students and allows them to do projects that would have been impossible in public school.

My child went to this school for a few years and everything was great. Things started changing when the school went in a new direction and wanted to bring on more grade levels and they started there own therapy company in house. Outside therapy companies were no longer allowed on property at this point. You will do fine at this school if you have a lot of money to pay for private therapy or contribute to there non-profit C.A.R.E, which donates a lot of stuff to the "school" not the children (sure they do art classes), the school is for profit by the way. They take McKay which is a plus. If you voice your opinion on your child's schooling, then they start making suggestions to find another school or don't find placements for the following year. The best part that I had to smile about is parental involvement. You can do volunteer hours or "buy out" of these hours and not do anything if you have the money. Your class is also required to provide the teachers a lunch out of your pocket for all the teachers in the school. The school is a great school if you can put up with the politics and have the money. Just be wary of placement here if you have other choices.

My son has been at Pinnacle for 2 years. He has made such progress. Because of all of the teachers and therapists. The workshops they provide are extremely helpful as well. I would recommend Pinnacle Academy to any family dealing with anything from Autism, to speech disorders. They have really helped my son and family, and I can't thank them enough for all they have done.

My son has been attending the Pinnacle Academy for the past 4 years. We love the school for our son, who is about to turn 10 this Spring. He is very high functioning on the Autistic Spectrum. The Summit Program that he is now part of at the school has been wonderful. He has a normal class schedule, Reading, History, Math, P.E., Computers etc. He is able to switch classes on his schedule and work with several teachers at the school. He is even part of Student Council :) We truly appreciate the opportunities he has been given in this program. He is thriving and finding his way and we are very proud of the success he has had. He grows every day and we would highly recommend this program to families with a child on the Spectrum.

Pinnacle Academy is absolutely the best place for children of all exceptionalities. My son was diagnosed at an early age with autism and was almost completely nonverbal. I had the fortune of meeting the director of the school immediately after. Dr Ordetx is one of the most dedicated professionals we have come across during our journey with our child. The school's low student radio coupled with a highly educated staff using the proven protocols and teaching techniques have made recipe for success. This an amazing school. I don't know where we would be today without Pinnacle Academy. Our son has made tremendous progress over the years and loves to go to school.

Our son has been at the school since the 2008 summer session. He was non-verbal when he started school there. He is now in the 3rd grade. He is excelling academically and socially. We are truly blessed to have teachers and therapists who truly care. We especially enjoy the free parent training workshops held at the school.

Pinnacle has been everything our family has dreamed of for our son's education. The student to teacher ratio alone outranks any other school. My son wasn't verbal and had a hard time with his fine motor skills. Now he is with several words and knows how to do things we wouldn't of imagined him doing in a short period of time. I love how the school has a monthly parent-teacher meeting to discuss our son's progress and goals. This school has truly been a blessing and we are planning to stay as long as we can.

So amazing that my daughter has even said that she wishes she could to go to school seven days a week. The transformation in her life as well as ours has been phenomenal. I owe it all to this school!!!!

We are very pleased with Pinnacle. Our son entered in summer session this past year. He had very limited words and some behavioral issues. He is growing in leaps and bounds in these areas. The staff is wonderful with the kids and the parent training and extra classes are amazing. We are grateful to have the school in our lives.

I could never put into words how appreciative I am for ALL that Dr Kirstina Ordetx and her school, Pinnacle Academy, has done for my son! When my son started going to Pinnacle Academy he was 3 years old, completely NON-VERBAL and did not try to communicate or socialize with other kids what-so-ever. After his 3 1/2 years there, and lots of hard work, I am very happy to say that my son has soared passed all of our expectations!! He is 11 years old now and His verbal skills are amazing, his socialization is unbelievable, and he had straight A's on his last report card!! I am so very grateful to Dr Kirstina Ordetx and her hard working therapists. I know that my son would not be where he is today without them. They gave him a chance to have a regular childhood. Thank you to all of you!!

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
