Definitely NOT a good school! The teachers aren't fair and they are very rude! I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone.
CBCS is a wonderful school. The teachers are excellent, and loving Christian educators (especially 3rd and 4th). The school has made an affordable Christian education a priority over accreditation, but is continuing to work towards that goal as well. The focus of this school is on the children and their educations, with Christ at the center of it all. We have attended other private schools on the area, and CBCS is the best in so many ways.
My daughter just completed her 4th year at CBCS. While we liked the school in general, we left in large part due to the fact the school is currently unaccredited. The school has been seeking accreditation for some time but has yet to obtain it. I believe the staff genuinely cares about the students, there is considerable parental involvement, but some inconsistencies with feedback from the teachers, and a lack of supervision at times.
I really like the school, but feel like there is not enough supervision when the children are outside.
i love central baptist christian school! there teachers are so loving, caring, and supportive. this school is #1!
I am very impressed with this school's loving atmosphere. Communication is great and my daughter loves her teacher and classmates. Thank you for keeping this school top notch.
My daughter attended CBCS for K4. What a wonderful experience! The enviroment was loving, the curriculum top notch, and the teachings biblically sound. My daughter is ready for anything.
My daughter has been attending CBCS since first grade (she is now in fifth). It is an excellent private/Christian school.
The academic program is strong for science and social studies. It lacks in writing and math. High level of parent involvement. It offers a good sport program, music, P.E., art, spanish. It is a warm and friendly atmosphere for the children and offers a safe and secure environment.
Administratively efficient and effective. Most subjects are 1-2 grades ahead of public schools in this area. Good school.
I believe overall Central is a good school, it just wasn't right for my son. He is advanced in reading and the school refused to work with him at his individual level or to move him up a grade. I also believe the balance between academic learning and religous studies is off; weighing heavier on the religous studies side.
This is a great school. My daughters love going here. It is an A+ school. Great teachers great programs and great curiculum.
I have had two children attend this school over the past 10 years, I would not recommend, one child has made the transition to public school and was not ahead of the learning, in fact was behind in many areas, however while attending CBCS maintained an 'A' avg. Also some of the staff does not demonstrate christian like behaivor.
