I love this school because my teacher Mrs. Jones is a funny, caring, and very nice teacher. Right now though she is officially on maternity leave. It has been really hard for me to recover from her leaving. That is why I ;ove this scool.
The teachers my son has had the past two years including the extention teachers have all been excellent. They take a personal interest in each child and truely want and expect the best out of them. They are very encouraging. They take the time to get to know each student and as a result are able to expand on each individual students strengths and give them the extra help they need with their weaknesses. I would recommend this school to anyone.
Most of the teachers are awesome, as is the case with all the Callahan Schools. Students are treated with respect and the learning
this school is excellent becuse mrs&mr. simmons class
The school's safety and discipline in amazing. I hope one day I become a teacher like my teachers before me. Lee Ann Jackson, The principal of the school is a great person and knows how to run a school!
Great school. Faculty is friendly and always willing to answer your questions in a timely manner. Campus is spacious and library and computer lab are top notch. Would recommend this school to anyone.
The school system in Nassau County is outstanding. You have the advantages of a larger city with the small town appeal.
After substituting at a few different schools and visiting many others I found Callahan Intermediate to be the best organized, well run and disciplined school I have ever seen. The students always walk in straight lines. They walk on the right side of the side walks. The teachers all use the same books and try to stay, within reason, along the same Units and chapters. This allows for the students to move to another class if necessary without hurting their education. The teachers have many different activities provided for all students to participate in. There are also many different clubs designed to help the students succeed in their academics. Thank you for being willing to work with the parents for a better education for the children.
