Wish they would separate the adolescent from the teenager students. It is a major source of bullying. The staff is aware but do not do much about it.

My son has been a student for almost three years and has had Ms. Terri Baker as his teacher. Ms. Terri is an excellent teacher. My son has advanced academically under her teaching. My son has a learning disability and Ms. Terri teaches him at his level, but at the same time challenging him to go further.

School is ok. I would not believe all the hype and promotional stuff they do to look good. Once you get inside you will find out they are just average. Some of the staff are rarely there. Not very good at working with children with disabilities. They are very selective of their student and those are the ones you see. some get washed out or are not accepted. I would have to say they choose they prefer the easy students. I believe for 16k a year you could do better.

We recently attended with some very bad results. School represents self as a place that work with Asperger students who are in need of help. Not the case, it is a Prep School that takes Asperger Students. who do not need help but need a better academic environment. School will not tell this. There is a no refund policy and your Mckay Scholarship may lapse if you find this out the hard way like we did. Below are the two top rated school for Asperger students who are in need of help in working with their symptoms. They have a long track record and are well known by Profesional IEP Advocates & Behavioral Specialist. No 1-- Paragon School They deal with the Aspergers part first and then the academics. No 2 - Pace Brantlely The deal with the academics first and then the Aspergers.

I could not be happier with the progress my son has made at this school and the whole school experience. The teachers and staff foster each student's individuality with a curriculum incorporating their needs and interests. Great school!
