This school and community is horrible. I had four children enrolled here and quickly moved them from it. If you have not lived here forever or are not influential/rich then your children will be passed over for any sport or activity they try out for or any awards. I would not reccomend this school to anyone! Not to mention the staff is totally unprofessional and gossip about everyone.
All three of our children have gone through Chiefland Middle School. Our youngest is currently in the 8th grade. We feel that CMS has done a great job in preparing them for High School and helped mold them as model citizens. Disipline at the school is across the board whether your a local or recently moved to our small community. The athletic opportunities are also great for such a small school. I would definitly give CMS an 'A' in all aspects.
