My child attends the preschool and has since it opened! The teachers are warm and loving and the director knows every student by name! Every morning when I drop off the director greets me with a warm smile and is always so happy to see my child. My child loves to give her a hug. When we get to class the teachers are so interested in what my child did the night before, always taking time to listen to what my child is telling them! We love the preschool!

I have kids in the preschool and elementary school at GCA. Not every day is perfect, but I know my kids could not be in a more loving and enriching environment. My four year old is even already beginning to read some! And just yesterday the principal sent out an email addressing a new school policy related to an issue in the middle school. Instead of waiting until next year or just hoping this year would end before something else came up, he approached the problem head on and dealt with it. I love that kind of leadership!

My first child has been attending GCA for many years now, so when it was time to put my second child in, it was just natural to have them at the same place. We had to be placed on the waiting list since they are I'm such high demand. As a family we love the school. We love the way our child is being treated and what all they are learning. I have gotten to see a huge improvement in the way my child interacts with other children. The teachers are all so loving with the children! Our family has nothing but positive things to say about both the school and the preschool!

Today my son completed one month of preschool. He is only 10 weeks and I was so nervous about leaving him. From the moment I walked in I was made to feel so comfortable. The Director was so kind and encouraging. She told me to call as often as I want to check on him. The staff are very caring and are loving on my boy which makes me so happy. Even when I forget my code. & they buzz me in they augh about it with me. So happy we chose Glades Chr stian Academy Preschool!

5 stars. This is truly an amazing Christian School. I have seen schools that have the name Christ in them but not Christian. My Children have been going to GCA almost their entire grade school and elementary life. The Christ education and guidance is excellent, and the teachers take the time to care. There is no perfect school but we have not had one instance of the following: bullying, extreme gossip, teasing, drugs, or inappropriate behavior. GCA has been a wonderful experience that I would recommend to any parent. The academics are good, and the extracurricular activities are always growing.

I like the fact that when students graduate from our school and assimilate into middle school / high schools in the area, that they academically and socially transition very well. A testament to the great job our faculty is doing.

Glades Christian Academy is an amazing place to work and to educate our children. As a principal with four kids, I have both a professional and personal investment in our school. While we are all about introducing kids to Jesus and His Word, we certainly don't skimp on a well-rounded education. Our curricula is challenging, but our teachers are encouraged to balance the work load for today's busy families. Our focus on honoring kids, parents, and peers makes GCA a school known for its intimate, loving environment where all students can develop to their fullest potential in Christ. I am proud to call Glades Christian Academy home for the education of each my four children. Give the school a call at 954.755.6405 and talk to our friendly office staff who are ready to answer all your questions. Or go online to http://www.cbglades.com/gca to download our student handbook and begin the registration process today!

GCA is an amazing school that is part of Church by the Glades. My daughter attends this school and couldn't be more happy with the Christian education that she is receiving. The teachers go out of their way to show they care by making learning fun and challenging. I would highly recommend this school!

Glades Christian Academy is an amazing school. I love the smaller classes which provides more "one on one" attention for my son. Not only is he learning academically, he's learning core values which mold his character. The teachers and administrative staff are caring and provide a family oriented environment. This school truly cares about our kids. I'm extremely grateful for GCA.

GCA is the best! My granddaughter is in fifth grade and has attended since PK3. Not only has she received an excellent academic education, but she has grown spiritually each and every year. When my daughter asked her if she wanted to attend the new charter school in their area, her first question was, "Do they teach about Jesus there?" Wen told that they do not, she cried and said she only wanted to go to GCA! She has had loving, caring teachers every year and has excelled academically in every area! We love our school!

Glades Christian Academy is an excellent option when searching for a school for your child. My son has thrived academically, emotionally and socially in this environment. He consistently scores highly on standardized tests year after year and feels like he is at home when he enters those doors each day. Initially I chose this school for him, now he chooses it for himself. I highly recommend this innovative and family centered environment for any student!

My children attended preschool and elementary school at GCA. I always knew GCA was the right place for them, but even more so now that they are in public school. GCA was such a good foundation for their Christian character and for them academically. Now GCA goes through middle school. From what I m hearing about the great things that are occurring in those grades, I wish my children were younger so they could have attended middle school also. I miss GCA and the impact it had on all our lives.

Great school! But there is no prayer going on. They do not pray in the morning as a school body for the children to have a blessed day, nothing at the begining of the day, not even in the classroom with the teachers. They don t pray as a group before they have lunch. For a Christian school, it will be expected to have some prayer going on, not only during chapel time. Just a valid comment. (this is not a public school were you have to hide to pray-or individually). Other than that, good school.

A TRUE BLESSING!!! After a 2-year struggle with charter school, where my daughter was extremely overwhelmed and wasn't learning anything, we found G.C.A to be a true blessing. This is the second year she has been attending and we couldn't be happier with the teachers, admostphere, curriculum, other students and overll top notch education. Mrs. Kelley last year was a super great teacher and we have been blessed with Mrs. Faria this year, she is awesome!! We love the religious approach, small classroom size only 7 kids last year and 11 this year...the one-to-one attention is great!! The school grounds are impecable and the school specials like Spanish, computer, art and P.E are fun & very well taught. My daughter loooves chapel time and we couldn't ask for a better administrators & principal.

WONDERFUL school with a warm and inviting atmosphere. With the exception of 1 teacher (who is incredibly immature) everyone else has made this school rise above the rest. An A+ school with caring people. My advice, be on top of things to make sure your child is happy and is learning at the level they need to be at. Every child is different and each need to be stimulated academically at different levels. Church by the Glades is an AMAZING CHURCH also!!!

This is a warm and wonderful environment for elementary school kids! My son has thrived and looked forward to school for the first time in years. The teachers are very nurturing, yet firm. The academic program is challenging, but reasonable. The administrator is upbeat and very involved with every child. We are grateful to have found this school.

My daughter and I LOVE this school!! This is her 3rd year attending there, and we love the teachers and office staff. They are all not only very caring and treat your children as if they were their own, but they teach them to handle themselves with a Christian worldview at all times. Plus, the fact that they are so family friendly and active is wonderful for working parents who enjoy being able to jump in and volunteer whenever their schedule allows them to. Can't say enough about this excellent school!!

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
