This school was terrible. The only reason anyone could like it is the fact that it is the only school there for those grades. My son was bullied, harassed and made to feel so uncomfortable that he hated going to school..Nothing was ever done even when it was brought to school officials attention. There is gang related activity and references I n this school as well as the elementary school in town.I was so happy when we moved and my children could go to a school where they actually could learn and not be afraid of violence. They like going to school now.

This is an excellent school. The principal is great & sincerely cares about the students & parents. He's always available to solve any problems. My child is learning so much academically & the staff seems extremely dedicated. It also has a great library. It's a very safe, secure, caring, & well monitored environment.

About the tests

Florida uses School Grades to measure the overall performance of a school each year on the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT). Each school is assigned a letter grade (A-F) based on three criteria: the overall performance on the FCAT, the percentage of eligible students who took the test, and whether or not students made progress in reading and math. The School Grades are calculated by adding points earned from each of the performance criteria listed above.
