My daughter likes the seventh grade curriculum and finds the larger school enjoyable as she has more friends here. She was able to shift to advanced math with the help of the principal to challenger her more. That has kept her progressing from her prior school which was a parochial school in Texas. I met the teachers at their open house and all appeared to be very dedicated. So far we are happy with the results.
They desire to be an FCAT 'A' school, undue pressure and preparation on students to achieve this 'for the school', sad! Many students have very poor reading skills, how did they make it from an 'A' rated Elementary School. Maybe we need guidance from Tallahassee.
