I'm sorry, but this is not a good school. I mean sure, they have great activities and all, but they took away ART AND CHORUS! Also, a lot of stuff goes on here they just don't mention.

My child was in the 6th grade group called Sea Bandits A. The teachers, for the most part, were excellent. Homework was light (compared to elementary)and some of the teachers let the children do some of their homework in class. The 6th graders are kept separate from the rest of the older children which is a good thing. Principal and teacher response to parental requests are not fast. Basically, your kids aren't in elementary school anymore and need to be more assertive about communicating with you about what's going on so that you can best focus your energy as their advocate.

We put our daughter in this school because of the teachers. She was going into 6th grade and we wanted strong and experienced teachers. She had been slightly behind grade level but after completing this year she is on grade level. The teachers were extremely supportive & encouraging and they were as pleased as we were to see her achieve the goals that we all had discussed. It was a pleasant experience for us all.
