Davie Elementary School

PLEASE DO not enroll your child here. Staff is rude and lazy they don't care about the students. I seen fifth graders throwing oranges after school at cars and parents. I called the office one day to inform them to hold my child because i was running late and they said he had to wait outside because children are not allowed in the office to wait for their parents!

overall the school is ok but the major issue i have is the school appears to be racist.I have a first grader who attends this school and this is his second year there and once again Black History Month is ignored this school has absolutley no intent to educate their students about the contributions that African Americans have made to our country and especially considering the fact that our country is run by an African American me and a lot of the other parents of Black kids at this school feel as if there is some sort of racial divide that neds to be bridged there.

We had a wonderful experience with Davie Elementary. Our daughter moved from Venezuela and started Kinder in Davie without any knowledge of English. In 3rd grade she was an Honor roll student with straight A's Davie Elementary Staff is awesome, professional, very responsible and really care about students. Unfortunately we had to move to Hollywood and she could not finish Elementary in such great School. No complaints at all!

Great office Staff and Mrs. Ortiz is a great kindergarten teacher and Ms. Sanzari is a awesome teacher. I hope my child continues to get great teacher

I am so proud of my children.They have done super thanks to davie elementry and there excelent staff.I only wish that ones the time comes for my children to move on to the next level and I mean middle school that the staff would go with them.

I liked the fact that my children were able to do special programs in the after school care. Overall the school was ok. Some of the teachers need to be more organized.

Davie Elementary school is trying to improve test scores. My son has a nice teacher and a good class. Parent involvement is high. Teachers try hard.
